So I have been on this campus now for 4 years. This is the first time that I have ever stepped foot into the CCSO sight that is right across from the music building. DO you want to know why this is the case? I never knew it was here!! How silly is that? It is one easy way to know that your campus is too big when you don't notice things like this right infront of you!

So I lost a bet. Why did the German soccer team lose!? They were playing in Munich. Haven't lost against England in many years. So I was almost certain I had the upper hand in this bet. Damn wrong. I lost so now I must cook a dinner. But, to rub it in, I'll make it some typical German dish.

Hmmm. Sleep is not a priority of mine recently. But seeing that today is my last day of classes for the week, I think I'll be able to take a nice nap or something like that later :) I had to be at work at 6:30 am yesterday. What tiime did I wake up? 6:30. And today, I was going to "audit" a class at 8:00 am. What time did I wake? 8:00 am. I wonder what it means that I will wake up at the exact time that I need to be somewhere.....

Alright. Since I have written twice in the same week I'll keep this short and sweet. Bye!

So it has been a really loooong time since I last wrote. I have no excuse other than I am still trying to get settled in my new home. So far I am having a really good time with my 7 roommates. We have everything totally set up for the house....cable modem, cable, the works. And all the boys are so good at keeping their messes in their rooms. Good thing....
Despite so much time passing I have nothing too exciting to write about. Work is still the same. We finally have a set schedule. On Monday I made $17 just in tips :) Then again, it was a 7 hour shift. Too bad I have to cut back on it....I need to switch into a class that meets during that shift. I hate to give it up, but I'd rather graduate than make sure I keep my hours at the cafe. I meet so many people through work. Actually, i have run into many German-speaking people. So, I get to practice keeping that up. The other day I met a man who works for the PB stations in Champaign as well as in Chicago and Germany. So, if I ever need connections, I am certain he's got some
I have been spending lots of time with my friend Bill. Things are going well. That's all there is to say 'bout that....
Mom, Dad and Lisa came to visit me on Sunday. It was nice to see everyone. Lisa I hadn't seen since she left for Spain over 2 months ago. And I haven't seen mom and dad in a long time either. I took them to the Arboretum on campus. They really liked it, I think... Then we all went to the cafe and they got to see where I have been spending most of my time recently. Lisa caught a man stealing some shortbread crackers. Good thing Erin had the guts to tell the man to come back inside and pay for them.
Anyway, now that classes have started, I can assume that I'll have my fair share of work to do. I am really looking forward to this one history class called "diaries and daily life of early modern europe". I think it will be really exciting. Lots of work, but stuff that i really like. The crazy thing is that I have NO music classes this semester!!! I have basically lived there for 2.5 years and now I have no reason to go back there. I will take lessons with Scott again, but other than that (1 hour per week), I have nothing binding me there. Saddy!

Alright. that's all. I'll try to be more regular about this. I'll also try to keep it a bit more exciting, without gossiping too much...
